The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 sparks of fire striking, 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn 3 and blaze a trail of dust, 4 And penetrate forthwith into the midst (of the foe) en masse;- 5 VERILY, towards his Sustainer man is most ungrateful 6 and to this, behold, he [himself] bears witness indeed: 7 He certainly has a strong love for wealth and riches. 8 ۞ Is he not aware of the time when the contents of the graves will be brought out? 9 And what is in the breasts is made apparent? 10 Most surely their Lord that day shall be fully aware of them. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
