Man says: "What! When I am dead, shall I then be raised up alive?" 66 Does man not remember that We created him before when he was nothing? 67 And, by thy Lord, verily We shall assemble them and the devils, then We shall bring them, crouching, around hell. 68 from every party We will pluck out whichever of them was the most hardened in disdain of the Most Merciful. 69 We surely know best those most deserving of the fires of hell, 70 There is not one among you who will not reach it. Your Lord has made this incumbent on Himself. 71 Then We shall deliver those that feared Allah and leave the wrong-doers there on their knees. 72 And when Our Clear Verses are recited to them, those who disbelieve (the rich and strong among the pagans of Quraish who live a life of luxury) say to those who believe (the weak, poor companions of Prophet Muhammad SAW who have a hard life): "Which of the two groups (i.e. believers and disbelievers) is best in (point of) position and as regards station (place of council for consultation)." 73 We have destroyed so many generations before them, who surpassed them in material power and splendour. 74 Say: "If any men go astray, (Allah) Most Gracious extends (the rope) to them, until, when they see the warning of Allah (being fulfilled) - either in punishment or in (the approach of) the Hour,- they will at length realise who is worst in position, and (who) weakest in forces! 75 God further enlightens those who seek guidance. To those who do charitable deeds which produce continuing benefits, your Lord will give a better reward and a better place in Paradise. 76 Have you seen he who disbelieves Our verses and yet says: 'I shall surely be given wealth and children' 77 Hath he perused the Unseen, or hath he made a pact with the Beneficent? 78 By no means! We write down what he says, and We will lengthen to him the length of the chastisement 79 We shall inherit that of which he speaks and he will come before Us alone. 80 And they have taken (for worship) aliha (gods) besides Allah, that they might give them honour, power and glory (and also protect them from Allah's Punishment etc.). 81 But nay! [On Judgment Day] these [very objects of adoration] will disavow the worship that was paid to them, and will turn against those [who had worshipped them]! 82
