Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the winds sent forth with beneficence. 1 by (the angels) as swift as blowing winds, 2 And [by] the winds that spread [clouds] 3 And those that distinguish distinctly, 4 and then giving forth a reminder, 5 To excuse or to warn, 6 Surely that which ye are promised will befall. 7 So when stars are effaced. 8 And when the heaven is rent asunder, 9 and the mountains are blown away, 10 and when the Messengers' time is set, 11 For what Day was it postponed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what will convey unto thee what the Day of Decision is! - 14 On that day, woe will be to those who have rejected God's revelations! 15 Did We not destroy the ancients 16 We shall then send the latter after them. 17 Thus deal We ever with the guilty. 18 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 19 Did We not create you from an abject fluid? 20 which We placed within a sure lodging 21 for an appointed time? 22 We then calculated; so how excellently do We control! 23 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle? 25 the living and the dead? 26 place on it high mountains and provide you with fresh water? 27 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 28 (It will be said to the disbelievers): "Depart you to that which you used to deny! 29 Depart unto the shadow falling threefold, 30 affording neither shade, nor protection from the flames, 31 and throwing up sparks as huge as towers 32 As if they were Jimalatun Sufr (yellow camels or bundles of ropes)." 33 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 34 This is the Day they shall not speak, 35 Nor will it be open to them to put forth pleas. 36 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 37 That is the Day of Judgment. We will bring you together with all the ancient peoples. 38 So if you have any ploy, try it against Me! 39 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 40
