Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Rivalry in worldly increase distracteth you 1 Until ye come to the graves. 2 But you will soon come to know. 3 Again, Nay! You shall come to know! 4 Nay, if you could but understand [it] with an understanding [born] of certainty, 5 You will be shown hell 6 Again, indeed you will see it with certainty. 7 Then on that Day you shall be questioned about your worldly favours. 8

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
