The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 in mind will keep it he who stands in awe [of God,] 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
