Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the morning hours 1 and the night when it grows still and dark. 2 your Lord has not forsaken you (Prophet Muhammad), nor does He hate you. 3 for, indeed, the life to come will be better for thee than this earlier part [of thy life]! 4 Your Lord will soon grant you sufficient favors to please you. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan, and shelter thee? 6 And found thee lost on thy way, and guided thee? 7 Did He not find you poor and enrich you? 8 Do not oppress the orphan, 9 and chide not him who asks, 10 and as for thy Lord's blessing, declare it. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
