The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
(I swear) by the snorting chargers (of the warriors), whose hoofs strike against the rocks 1 And the producers of sparks [when] striking 2 then raid by the dawn, 3 and blaze a trail of dust, 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 And most surely he is tenacious in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not that, when the contents of the graves are poured forth 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
