We sent Moses with Our signs and full authority 96 To the Pharaoh and his nobles, but they followed the bidding of Pharaoh, though the bidding of Pharaoh was unrightful. 97 He shall lead his people on the resurrection day, and bring them down to the fire; and evil the place to which they are brought. 98 A curse followed them in this world, and shall follow them on the Day of Resurrection. What a foul gift to be given! 99 These are a few accounts of settlements that We narrate to you. Some still survive, and some have been mowed down. 100 And We wronged them not, but they wronged themselves; their gods availed them not that they called upon, apart from God, anything, when the command of thy Lord came; and they increased them not, save in destruction. 101 Such is the seizing of your Lord that when He does seize the towns immersed in wrong-doing, His seizing is painful, terrible. 102 Verily herein is a sign unto him who feareth the torment of the Hereafter. That is a Day whereon mankind shall be gathered together, and that is a Day to be witnessed. 103 And We do not postpone it except for a fixed term. 104 When that Day comes, not a soul will speak, unless it be by His leave; and of those [that are gathered together,] some will be wretched and some, happy. 105 Those who are wretched shall be in the Fire: There will be for them therein (nothing but) the heaving of sighs and sobs: 106 They will dwell therein for all the time that the heavens and the earth endure, except as your Lord wills. Verily, your Lord is the doer of what He wills. 107 ۞ And as for those who shall be blest, they shall be in the Garden, as abiders therein so long as the heavens and the earth remain, save as thy Lord may will; a gift unending. 108 So be not in doubt (O Muhammad SAW) as to what these (pagans and polytheists) men worship. They worship nothing but what their fathers worshipped before (them). And verily, We shall repay them in full their portion without diminution. 109
