▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 And that is indeed a mighty adjuration if ye but knew,- 76 that this is indeed a noble Quran, 77 (Inscribed) in the well-kept Book. 78 Which none toucheth save the purified, 79 It has been revealed by the Lord of all the worlds. 80 Would you say that this statement is a lie? 81 And to give (it) the lie you make your means of subsistence. 82 Why, but when the soul leaps to the throat of the dying 83 the while you are [helplessly] looking on 84 and while We are closer to him than you, although you see [Us] not: 85 why then, if you are not revived, 86 Can you not bring him back? (Answer) if you are truthful 87 If he is among the near 88 it will have rest, happiness, and a beautiful Paradise. 89 And if he be of the Companions of the Right Hand, 90 Then peace to you from those on the right hand. 91 And if he be of the beliers, the erring, 92 The welcome will be boiling water 93 He will burn in Hell. 94 Indeed, this is the certain truth. 95 Then praise your Lord, the most supreme. 96
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
