Moses said, "My Lord! open up my heart, 25 And make my affair easy to me, 26 And untie the knot from my tongue 27 "So they may understand what I say: 28 "And appoint for me a helper from my family, 29 Let it be my brother Aaron 30 to support me. 31 "And let him share my task (of conveying Allah's Message and Prophethood), 32 "That we may celebrate Thy praise without stint, 33 and remember You abundantly. 34 You are surely watching over us. 35 He answered: "Granted is your prayer, O Moses. 36 "And indeed We conferred a favour on thee another time (before). 37 “When We inspired in your mother’s heart whatever was to be inspired.” 38 Saying: Put him into a chest, then cast it down into the river, then the river shall throw him on the shore; there shall take him up one who is an enemy to Me and enemy to him, and I cast down upon you love from Me, and that you might be brought up before My eyes; 39 What time thy sister was walking along and saying: shall I direct you unto one who will take care of him? Thus We returned thee to thy mother that she might cool her eyes and she might not grieve. And thou slewest a person, but We delivered thee from sorrow, and We tried thee with several trials. Then thou tarriedst for years among the people of Madyan then thou camest according to fate, O Musa! 40 And I have chosen you for Myself: 41 Go with My signs, you and your brother, and do not be lax in remembering Me. 42 Go, both of you, to Pharaoh. Indeed, he has transgressed. 43 But speak gently to him; perhaps he may yet take heed or even feel afraid." 44 They said, "Our Lord, indeed we are afraid that he will hasten [punishment] against us or that he will transgress." 45 He said: "Fear not: for I am with you: I hear and see (everything). 46 So go you both to him and say: Surely we are two apostles of your Lord; therefore send the children of Israel with us and do not torment them! Indeed we have brought to you a communication from your Lord, and peace is on him who follows the guidance; 47 Indeed, it has been revealed to us that the punishment will be upon whoever denies and turns away.' " 48 He asked: "Who then is that Lord of yours, O Moses?" 49 He replied: "Our Sustainer is He who gives unto every thing [that exists] its true nature and form, and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment]. 50 He then asked, "What do you know about the past generations?" 51 (Moses) replied: "Knowledge of that is with my Lord (recorded) in the Book. My Lord neither errs nor forgets." 52 Who has made earth for you like a bed (spread out); and has opened roads (ways and paths etc.) for you therein; and has sent down water (rain) from the sky. And We have brought forth with it various kinds of vegetation. 53 Eat (for yourselves) and pasture your cattle: verily, in this are Signs for men endued with understanding. 54

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. (5) وقف المجاذبة أو المعانقة حيث يجب الوقف في أي من موضعين قريبين ولكن ليس كلاهما، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة تظهر في أحد الموقعين باحتمال النصف للنصف.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
