Blessed is He who placed in the heavens constellations of stars, and placed a burning lamp in it and the luminous moon. 61 And He it is Who hath appointed night and day in succession, for him who desireth to remember, or desireth thankfulness. 62 Devotees of Ar-Rahman are those who walk with humility on the earth, and when they are addressed by the ignorant, say: 'Peace;" 63 They are those who spend the night worshipping their Lord, prostrating, and standing, 64 And who say: Our Lord! Avert from us the doom of hell; lo! the doom thereof is anguish; 65 Lo! it is wretched as abode and station; 66 And those who, when spending, neither exceed the limits nor act miserly, and stay in moderation between the two. 67 those who never invoke any other deity besides God, nor take a life which God has made sacred, except with the right to do so, nor commit adultery. Anyone who does that shall face punishment: 68 The torment will be doubled to him on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein in disgrace; 69 Except one who repents and accepts faith and does good deeds – so Allah will turn their evil deeds into virtues; and Allah is Oft Forgiving, Most Merciful. 70 Whosoever repents and does the right, will have turned back to God by way of repentance; 71 Those who witness no falsehood, and, if they pass by futility, they pass by it with honourable (avoidance); 72 and who when they are reminded of the verses of their Lord, they do not fall down deaf and blind. 73 who pray, "Our Lord, bless us with wives and children, who may be the comfort of our eyes, and make us leaders of the righteous. " - 74 They will all receive Paradise as their reward for their forbearance and patience, where they will be greeted with, "Peace be with you." 75 And abide there for ever: What an excellent destination and abode! 76 Say, "What would my Lord care for you, if you do not call on Him. Because you have indeed rejected the truth and His punishment is bound to overtake you. 77
