The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By those who range themselves in rows; 1 By those (angels) who drive the clouds in a good way. 2 By the angels reciting the praise. 3 surely your God is One, 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them – and the Lord of the sun’s rising points. 5 We have adorned the lower heaven with the adornment of the stars 6 And to guard against every rebellious devil. 7 They cannot listen to the exalted assembly and they are thrown at from every side, 8 driven away, and will suffer eternal punishment. 9 Except one who sometimes steals a part, so a blazing flame goes after him. 10 (Muhammad), ask them, "Have they (people) been created stronger than what We have created?" We have created them from moist clay. 11 Truly dost thou marvel, while they ridicule, 12 When they are reminded, they do not pay heed, 13 When they see a sign, they laugh at it, 14 And they say, “This is nothing but clear magic.” 15 When we are dead and turned to dust and bones, how can we be raised again, 16 And our forefathers? 17 Say: Aye! and you shall be abject. 18 So that is just a single jolt, thereupon they will begin staring. 19 They will say: "Woe to us! This is the Day of Recompense!" 20 'This is the Day of Decision, even that you cried lies to. 21
