And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
