The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 Who determines and directs, 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 We shall take you slowly towards ease. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: The All High (Al-A'alaa). Sent down in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
