Blessed is He Who made the constellations in the heavens and made therein a lamp and a shining moon. 61 And it is He Who created the alternation of the night and day for one who wishes to remember or intends to give thanks. 62 The (faithful) slaves of the Beneficent are they who walk upon the earth modestly, and when the foolish ones address them answer: Peace; 63 They are those who spend the night worshipping their Lord, prostrating, and standing, 64 who say, 'Our Lord, turn Thou from us the chastisement of Gehenna; surely its chastisement is torment most terrible; 65 Surely it is an evil abode and (evil) place to stay. 66 And those who when they expend, are neither extravagant nor sparing, and it is a medium in-between. 67 And they who do not call upon another god with Allah and do not slay the soul, which Allah has forbidden except in the requirements of justice, and (who) do not commit fornication and he who does this shall find a requital of sin; 68 and his torment shall be doubled on the Day of Resurrection, and he shall abide in a state of ignominy, 69 except he who repents and believes and does good works those, Allah will change their evil deeds into good deeds; Allah is ever Forgiving and Merciful. 70 and whosoever repents, and does righteousness, he truly turns to God in repentance. 71 And those who do not witness falsehood, and if they pass by some evil play or evil talk, they pass by it with dignity. 72 Who, when reminded of their Lord's revelations, do not fall for them like the deaf and blind; 73 who say, "Lord, grant us joy in our wives and children and make us a model for the righteous." 74 They will all receive Paradise as their reward for their forbearance and patience, where they will be greeted with, "Peace be with you." 75 therein to abide: [and] how goodly an abode and [how high] a station! 76 Say, "What would my Lord care for you if not for your supplication?" For you [disbelievers] have denied, so your denial is going to be adherent. 77
