The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Ta. Sin, Mim. 1 These are the verses of the perspicuous Book. 2 Perchance thou consumest thyself that they are not believers. 3 If We willed, We could send down to them from the sky a sign for which their necks would remain humbled. 4 And never comes there unto them a Reminder as a recent revelation from the Most Beneficent (Allah), but they turn away therefrom. 5 So they have cried lies; therefore assuredly tidings will come to them of that they mocked at. 6 Do they not see the earth, how many of every noble kind We have caused to grow in it? 7 Verily, in this is an Ayah (proof or sign), yet most of them (polytheists, pagans, etc., who do not believe in Resurrection) are not believers. 8 Your Lord is surely mighty and merciful. 9
