Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Ya, Seen. 1 By the wise Qur'an. 2 you (Prophet Muhammad) are truly among the Messengers sent 3 On a Straight Path (i.e. on Allah's religion of Islamic Monotheism). 4 (and this Qur'an) is a revelation from the Most Mighty, the Most Compassionate 5 In order that thou mayest admonish a people, whose fathers had received no admonition, and who therefore remain heedless (of the Signs of Allah). 6 Certainly the word has proved true of most of them, so they do not believe. 7 Lo! We have put on their necks carcans reaching unto the chins, so that they are made stiff-necked. 8 And We have set a bar before them and a bar behind them, and (thus) have covered them so that they see not. 9 And it is alike unto them, whether thou warnest them or warnest them not; they shall not believe. 10 You can only warn one who follows the message and fears the Most Merciful unseen. So give him good tidings of forgiveness and noble reward. 11 Verily We! We shall quicken the dead. And We write down that which they send before and their footsteps. And everything We have counted up in a Book luminous. 12
