It is He who gave you hearing, sight, and hearts, but only few of you give thanks. 78 And He it is who has caused you to multiply on earth; and unto Him you shall be gathered. 79 It is He who gives life, and makes to die, and to Him belongs the alternation of night and day; what, will you not understand? 80 Nay, they say the like of what the ancients said: 81 They say: when we are dead, and have become dust and bones, shall we verily be raised up? 82 We and our forefathers were promised this before. This is nothing but fables of the ancients." 83 Say: Unto Whom (belongeth) the earth and whosoever is therein, if ye have knowledge? 84 They will say, "To Allah!" say: "Yet will ye not receive admonition?" 85 Say: 'Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Lord of the mighty Throne?' 86 [And] they will reply: "[All this power belongs] to God." Say: "Will you not, then, remain conscious of Him?" 87 Say thou: in whose hands is the governance of everything, and who sheltereth but from whom none is sheltered, if ye know? 88 They will say, "(It belongs) to Allah." Say: "Then how are ye deluded?" 89 We have sent them the truth and they, certainly, are liars. 90 God has not taken to Himself a son, nor is there any other deity besides Him; otherwise, each god would have walked away with what he had created. They would surely have tried to overcome one another. Glory be to God, above all that they ascribe to Him. 91 knowing all that is beyond the reach of a created being's perception as well as all that can be witnessed by a creature's senses or mind and hence, sublimely exalted is He above anything to which they may ascribe a share in His divinity! 92
