Prostration (Al-Sajdah)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
AlifLaamMeem. 1 The revelation of the Book, there is no doubt in it, is from the Lord of the worlds. 2 Or do they say: 'He has forged it himself' Say: 'No, it is the truth from your Lord so that you can warn a nation to whom none has warned before you, in order that they are guided. 3 It is Allah who created the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them in six days; then He established Himself above the Throne. You have not besides Him any protector or any intercessor; so will you not be reminded? 4 He rules (all) affairs from the heavens to the earth: in the end will (all affairs) go up to Him, on a Day, the space whereof will be (as) a thousand years of your reckoning. 5 He is the knower of the Unseen and the Visible, the All-mighty, the All-compassionate, 6 who makes most excellent everything that He creates. Thus, He begins the creation of man out of clay; 7 Then He made his progeny from an extract of water base. 8 then He shaped him, and breathed His spirit in him. And He appointed for you hearing, and sight, and hearts; little thanks you show. 9 They say: “Shall we be created afresh after we have become lost in the earth?” Nay, the fact is that they deny that they will meet their Lord. 10 ۞ (Muhammad), say, "The angel of death, who is appointed over everyone of you, will cause you to die and to your Lord you will all return." 11
