Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the chargers panting, 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 Then those that make raids at morn, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 Penetrating forthwith as one into the midst (of the foe); 5 Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful. 6 And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when the contents of the graves are brought out and poured forth (all mankind is resurrected). 9 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 10 Most surely their Lord that day shall be fully aware of them. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
