Therefore, remind and preach (mankind, O Muhammad SAW of Islamic Monotheism). By the Grace of Allah, you are neither a soothsayer, nor a madman. 29 Or do they say: A poet, we wait for him the evil accidents of time. 30 Say, "Wait, I too am waiting with you". 31 Is this what their senses tell them, or are they a rebellious people? 32 Or do they say: "He has fabricated it?" In fact, they will never believe. 33 So let them bring a single discourse like it, if they are truthful. 34 Were they created of nothing, or were they themselves the creators? 35 [And] have they created the heavens and the earth? Nay, but they have no certainty of anything! 36 Or do they have your Lord's treasures in their keeping? Or have absolute authority over them? 37 Or have they a ladder whereon they listen? Then let any of them that has listened bring a clear authority. 38 Or does Allah have daughters whereas you have sons? 39 Or do you, [O Muhammad], ask of them a payment, so they are by debt burdened down? 40 Or, is the Unseen in their keeping, so they are writing it down? 41 Or desire they to outwit? The unbelievers, they are the outwitted. 42 Or have they a god other than Allah? Glory be to Allah from what they set up (with Him). 43 AND YET, if they [who refuse to see the truth] were to see part of the sky falling down, they would [only] say: "[It is but] a mass of clouds!" 44 Therefore leave them, until they confront their day, in which they will be stunned. 45 and when their evil plans will be of no benefit to them nor will they be helped. 46 Surely a chastisement awaits the wrong-doers even before the coming of that Day; but most of them do not know. 47 Be patient, then, (O Prophet), until the judgement of your Lord comes. For surely you are before Our eyes. And celebrate the praise of your Lord when you rise, 48 And in a part of the night exalt Him and after [the setting of] the stars. 49
