The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the heavens with constellations, 1 And by the Promised Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection); 2 and by the witness and what is witnessed: 3 THEY DESTROY [but] themselves, they who would ready a pit 4 the makers of the fuel-stoked fire! 5 when they were seated around it 6 fully conscious of what they are doing to the believers, 7 They had nothing against them, except that they believed in Allah, the All-Mighty, Worthy of all Praise! 8 To Him only belongs the kingship of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is a Witness over all things. 9 Those who persecute (or draw into temptation) the Believers, men and women, and do not turn in repentance, will have the Penalty of Hell: They will have the Penalty of the Burning Fire. 10 But those who believe and do good deeds shall be rewarded with gardens watered by flowing rivers. That is the supreme triumph. 11 Truly strong is the Grip (and Power) of thy Lord. 12 Indeed, it is He who originates [creation] and repeats. 13 And He is the Forgiving, the Loving, 14 Owner of the throne, the Glorious 15 The great doer of what He will. 16 Has not there come to you the story of the hosts, 17 of Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 And yet the Unbelievers (persist) in rejecting (the Truth)! 19 And Allah is after them, has them surrounded. 20 It is indeed a glorious Quran, 21 in a Guarded Tablet. 22
