Al-Ankaboot 7 of 7
for, [if they did, they would know that] the life of this world is nothing but a passing delight and a play - whereas, behold, the life in the hereafter is indeed the only [true] life: if they but knew this! 64 When they embark in the ships they call upon Allah, consecrating their faith to Him. But when He rescues them and brings them to land, they suddenly begin to associate others with Allah in His Divinity 65 So that they become ingrate for that which We have vouchsafed unto them, and that they enjoy themselves; but presently they shall know. 66 Have they not seen that We have appointed a sanctuary secure, while all about them the people are snatched away? What, do they believe in vanity, and do they disbelieve in God's blessing? 67 Who is more unjust than one who invents falsehood against God or rejects the Truth after it has come to him? Is not hell the dwelling for the disbelievers. 68 And those who strive hard in us, We shall surely guide them in Our paths; verily Allah is with the welldoers. 69
