And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 and at night.
