Therefore continue to remind, for by the grace of your Lord, you are not a soothsayer, or a madman. 29 Or do they say: "(Muhammad SAW is) a poet! We await for him some calamity by time! 30 Say (O Muhammad SAW to them): "Wait! I am with you, among the waiters!" 31 Or, do their intellects order them to do this? Or, are they an insolent people? 32 Or say they: He hath invented it? Nay, but they will not believe! 33 Then let them bring an announcement like it if they are truthful. 34 Were they created out of nothing, or are they their own creators? 35 [And] have they created the heavens and the earth? Nay, but they have no certainty of anything! 36 Do they possess the treasures of your Lord? Or are they the treasurers? 37 Or have they a stairway (to heaven), by means of which they listen (to the talks of the angels)? Then let their listener produce some manifest proof. 38 Or hath He daughters whereas ye have sons? 39 Or askest thou (Muhammad) a fee from them so that they are plunged in debt? 40 Or have they [knowledge of] the unseen, so they write [it] down? 41 Or do they intend a plot (against you O Muhammad SAW)? But those who disbelieve (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism) are themselves in a plot! 42 Or do they have a god apart from God? He is too exalted for what they associate with Him! 43 (So obstinate are they that) even if they were to see some fragments of the sky falling down they would still say: “It is only a mass of cloud.” 44 Hence, leave them alone until they face that [Judgment] Day of theirs, when they will be stricken with terror: 45 the Day when none of their scheming will be of the least avail to them, and they will receive no succour. 46 And verily, for those who do wrong, there is a punishment beyond that. But most of them know not. 47 Be patient, then, (O Prophet), until the judgement of your Lord comes. For surely you are before Our eyes. And celebrate the praise of your Lord when you rise, 48 and exalt Him in the night and at the declining of the stars. 49
