The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the inevitable event takes place, 1 and there can be no denying its happening, 2 (it will) abase (some) and exalt (others). 3 when the earth will suddenly shake with a terrible shaking, 4 And the hills are ground to powder 5 so that they become as scattered dust 6 And you become [of] three kinds: 7 Companions of the Right (O Companions of the Right!) 8 Then those of the left hand -- how (unhappy) will be those of the left hand! 9 As for the Foremost, they will be the foremost! 10 Those are the ones brought near [to Allah] 11 in the Gardens of Delight, 12 Many of them will be from the ancient people 13 and a few from later times. 14 On thrones decorated, 15 Reclining on them, facing each other. 16 Youths of never-ending bloom will pass round to them 17 with goblets and ewers, and a cup from a spring 18 (no brows throbbing, no intoxication) 19 And fruits such as they choose, 20 and such flesh of fowl as they desire, 21 They will have maidens with large, lovely black and white eyes, 22 like pearls preserved in their shells, 23 As recompense for all they had done. 24 Not frivolity will they hear therein, nor any taint of ill,- 25 Nought but the saying: peace! peace! 26 The Companions of the Right (O Companions of the Right!) 27 (will be) among thornless Lote trees. 28 And clustered plantains, 29 And spreading shade, 30 And in perpetually flowing water. 31 And fruit in plenty, 32 unfailing and not forbidden. 33 And exalted thrones. 34 We have created (their Companions) of special creation. 35 and shall have made them virgins, 36 full of love, well-matched 37 for those on the Right, 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
