(Hell will never spare the disbelievers). 32 And by the night when it withdraws, 33 And the dawn when it shineth forth, 34 Indeed, the Fire is of the greatest [afflictions] 35 as a warner to mortals. 36 to everyone of you, whether he chooses to come forward or to hang back! 37 [On the Day of Judgment,] every human being will be held in pledge for whatever [evil] he has wrought 38 save the People of the Right Hand 39 In Gardens (Paradise) they will ask one another, 40 and will ask of the criminals, 41 "What has brought you into the Fire of Hell ?" 42 They will answer: "We did not fulfil our devotional obligations, 43 Nor did we used to feed the poor. 44 We plunged in with the plungers 45 And we used to deny the Day of Recompense 46 until death approached us". 47 The intercession of their intercessors shall not benefit them. 48 What is the matter with them that they turn away from this Reminder, 49 like frightened donkeys 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Nay; every one of them desires that he may be given pages spread out; 52 By no means! Aye, they fear not the Hereafter. 53 Nay, verily, this is an admonition 54 So whosoever willeth may heed it. 55 And what advice will they heed, except if Allah wills? Only He deserves to be feared, and His only is the greatness of forgiving. 56
