Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the (steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 as they gallop to make raids at dawn, 3 and blaze a trail of dust, 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 He himself bears witness to that. 7 And indeed he is ardent for the love of good (wealth, becoming greedy). 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 And the secrets of the breasts are made known, 10 Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Acquainted. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
