We have placed constellations in heaven and have beautified it for beholders, 16 And We have preserved it from every accursed devil, 17 Except the ones who listen on the sly, yet they are chased away by a shooting flame. 18 And the earth - We have spread it out wide, and placed on it mountains firm, and caused [life] of every kind to grow on it in a balanced manner, 19 and there appointed for you is a livelihood, and for those you do not provide. 20 With Us is the source of everything and We do not send it down except in a known quantity. 21 And We send the winds fertilising, and cause water to descend from the sky, and give it you to drink. It is not ye who are the holders of the store thereof. 22 It is We who give life and We who give death, and We are the One who will abide. 23 And well do We know [the hearts and deeds of all human beings - both] those who lived before you and those who will come after you; 24 Lo! thy Lord will gather them together. Lo! He is Wise, Aware. 25
