Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
Lo, the Tree of Ez-Zakkoum 43 The food of the sinner! 44 Like the dregs of all! It shall seethe in the bellies: 45 Like the churning of boiling water. 46 (It will be said) "Seize him and drag him into the midst of blazing Fire, 47 Then pour unto their heads the boiling water to torment them". 48 [It will be said], "Taste! Indeed, you are the honored, the noble! 49 This is that concerning which you were doubting.' 50 Indeed, for those who feared (Allah) is a secure place 51 amidst gardens and fountains, 52 wearing [garments] of silk and brocade, facing one another [in love]. 53 Just like that. We shall pair them with companions with large black eyes. 54 They will call therein for every kind of fruit, in peace and security. 55 They shall not taste death except the death in this world. And Allah will save them from the chastisement of Hell 56 as a favour from your Lord. That is the great triumph. 57 We have made the Quran easy for you to recite so that perhaps they may take heed. 58 Wait thou then; verily they also are waiting. 59

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
