And the heaven We constructed with strength, and indeed, We are [its] expander. 47 And the earth -- We spread it forth; O excellent Smoothers! 48 And all things We have created by pairs, that haply ye may reflect. 49 Therefore hasten to God; truly, I am sent by Him to give you clear warning. 50 Do not set up another god with God. I give you a clear warning from Him. 51 Likewise, there came not an apostle unto those before them but they said: a magician or a madman! 52 Is this the legacy they have transmitted, one to another? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds! 53 So turn away from them, you shall not be blamed, 54 Do, however, keep exhorting them; for exhortation benefits those endowed with faith. 55 And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me. 56 I seek not any provision from them (i.e. provision for themselves or for My creatures) nor do I ask that they should feed Me (i.e. feed themselves or My creatures). 57 It is God Who is the Sustainer and the Lord of invincible strength. 58 The unjust will bear a burden like that of their unjust predecessors. Let them not make Me bring immediate punishment upon them. 59 And woe unto those who disbelieve, from (that) their day which they are promised. 60
