Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Have We not opened forth for thee thy breast? 1 and relieved you of your burden 2 the burden that weighed down thy back? 3 And raised high your fame? 4 So, verily, with every difficulty, there is relief: 5 Verily, with the hardship, there is relief (i.e. there is one hardship with two reliefs, so one hardship cannot overcome two reliefs). 6 So, when you have finished (your prayer), labor (in supplication), 7 and let thy Lord be thy Quest. 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
