Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Yaa-Seen (Alphabets of Arabic language – Allah and to whomever He reveals, know their precise meanings.) 1 By the wise Qur'an. 2 Lo! thou art of those sent 3 On a straight path, 4 This is a revelation sent down from the Majestic and All-merciful 5 so that you may warn a people who are unaware because their fathers were not warned. 6 The Phrase has become obligatory upon most of them, yet they do not believe. 7 We have bound their necks with fetters up to their chin, so that their heads are raised and cannot be lowered. 8 and We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up so that they cannot see. 9 And it is alike to them whether you warn them or warn them not: they do not believe. 10 Thou warnest only him who followeth the Reminder and feareth the Beneficent in secret. To him bear tidings of forgiveness and a rich reward. 11 Verily, We give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before (them), and their traces [their footsteps and walking on the earth with their legs to the mosques for the five compulsory congregational prayers, Jihad (holy fighting in Allah's Cause) and all other good and evil they did, and that which they leave behind], and all things We have recorded with numbers (as a record) in a Clear Book. 12
