But nay! I swear by that which you see, 38 And what ye see not, 39 because the Quran is certainly the word of a reverent messenger. 40 it is not the word of a poet -- how little you believe! -- 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer (or a foreteller), little is that you remember! 42 It has been revealed by the Lord of the Universe. 43 Had he attributed falsely any words to Us, 44 We assuredly had taken him by the right hand 45 then We would surely have cut his life-vein 46 and none of you could have held Us off from him. 47 And indeed this Qur’an is an advice for the pious. 48 We certainly know that some among you will give the lie to it, 49 And indeed it is a despair for the disbelievers. 50 And verily it is the truth of assured certainty. 51 Therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), proclaim the purity of your Lord, the Greatest. 52
