The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 What is the Striking Calamity? 2 Would that you knew what the Clatterer is! 3 On that day, people will be like scattered moths 4 And the mountains will become as carded wool. 5 And then, he whose weight [of good deeds] is heavy in the balance 6 Will be in a life of good pleasure and satisfaction. 7 but he whose scales weigh lighter, 8 He will have his home in Hawiyah (pit, i.e. Hell). 9 What shall let you know what the Plunging is? 10 (It is) a Fire Blazing fiercely! 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah). Sent down in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
