۞ Proclaim, “I advise you just one thing; that stand up for Allah's sake, in twos and ones, and then think”; there is not a trace of insanity in this companion of yours; he is not but a Herald of Warning for you, before the advent of a severe punishment! 46 Say: "The reward I ask is for yourself. My reward is due from none but God; and He is witness over everything." 47 Say to them, "My Lord hurls forth the Truth [at falsehood] and He is the knower of hidden things." 48 Say to them, "The Truth has come and will endure. Falsehood has no power to originate any good, nor to reproduce it." 49 Say: 'If I go astray, I go astray only to my own loss; if I am guided, it is by what my Lord reveals to me. He is All-hearing, Ever-nigh.' 50 Ah, if thou couldst see when they are terrified, and there is no escape, and they are seized from a place near at hand, 51 And they will [then] say, "We believe in it!" But how for them will be the taking [of faith] from a place far away? 52 And they disbelieved in it before, and they utter conjectures with regard to the unseen from a distant place. 53 And prevention will be placed between them and what they desire, as was done with their kind before. Indeed, they were in disquieting denial. 54
