The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the chargers panting, 1 sparks of fire striking, 2 Then those that make raids at morn, 3 blazing a trail of dust, 4 Penetrating forthwith as one into the midst (of the foe); 5 Indeed man is very ungrateful towards his Lord. 6 and to this, behold, he [himself] bears witness indeed: 7 And indeed he loves wealth to the extreme. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when that which is in the tombs is over-thrown, 9 and that which is in the chest is brought out, 10 That their Lord had been Well-acquainted with them, (even to) that Day? 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat). Sent down in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
