The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

The terrible calamity! 1 What is the startling calamity? 2 And what could make thee conceive what that sudden calamity will be? 3 The day on which men shall be as scattered moths, 4 and the mountains shall be like fluffs of carded wool in varying colours. 5 Then, as for him whose scales are heavy (with good works), 6 He is therefore in the desired bliss. 7 But as for him whose scales are light, 8 will have hawiyah as their dwelling. 9 And what can make you know what that is? 10 A Fire vehemently hot! 11
