ART THOU NOT aware that We have let loose all [manner of] satanic forces upon those who deny the truth - [forces] that impel them [towards sin] with strong impulsion? 83 Therefore, do not hasten (things) against them, for We count out to them a number, 84 The day on which We will gather those who guard (against evil) to the Beneficent Allah to receive honors 85 And drive the guilty unto hell, a weary herd, 86 having no power of intercession, save those who have taken with the All-merciful covenant. 87 And they say: the Compassionate hath taken a son. 88 Indeed you have brought forth (said) a terrible evil thing. 89 the heavens might well-nigh burst thereat, and the earth break asunder, and the mountains fall down in pieces, 90 That they ascribe a son (or offspring or children) to the Most Beneficent (Allah). 91 And it is not appropriate for the Most Merciful that He should take a son. 92 There is none in the heavens and the earth but cometh unto the Beneficent as a slave. 93 He has counted them and numbered them precisely, 94 And each one of them will come before Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 Surely those who believe and do deeds of righteousness -- unto them the All-merciful shall assign love. 96 So have We made the (Qur'an) easy in thine own tongue, that with it thou mayest give Glad Tidings to the righteous, and warnings to people given to contention. 97 And how many have We destroyed before them of generations? Do you perceive of them anyone or hear from them a sound? 98
