The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its mighty shaking, 1 and when the earth brings forth its burdens 2 and man will cry out: “What is the matter with her?” 3 upon that day she shall tell her tidings 4 for your Lord will have revealed to it. 5 On that Day mankind shall issue in scatterings to see their deeds. 6 and whoso has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 And he who has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8
