The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

The Calamity! 1 What is the startling calamity? 2 And what do you know what the Calamity is? 3 On that Day people shall become like scattered moths 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool, 5 Then, as for him whose scales are heavy (with good works), 6 shall inherit a pleasing life, 7 And for one whose scales prove light, 8 shall plunge in the womb of the Pit. 9 And what will explain to thee what this is? 10 (It is) a Fire which is extremely hot. 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
