And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 “Allah Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 and at night. Do you still not understand? 138
