Al-Qaare'ah

The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 What is the Calamity? 2 What shall let you know what the Clatterer is! 3 The day on which men shall be as scattered moths, 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool. 5 Then as for him whose measure of good deeds is heavy, 6 He is therefore in the desired bliss. 7 And as for him whose measure of good deeds is light, 8 the Abyss shall be his home. 9 And what will make you know what it is? 10 (It is) a Fire which is extremely hot. 11
