When Your Lord told Moses to go to the unjust people of the Pharaoh 10 The people of Fir'awn; fear they Me not? 11 He said: My Lord! Lo! I fear that they will deny me, 12 and "my breast is straitened and my tongue is not fluent; so send Aaron as well; 13 And they have a crime against me, therefore I fear that they may slay me. 14 Said He: "Not so, indeed! Go forth, then, both of you, with Our messages: verily, We shall be with you, listening [to your call]! 15 Go to the Pharaoh and tell him: 'We bring a message from the Lord of all the worlds 16 "'Send thou with us the Children of Israel.'" 17 (Pharaoh) said: "Did we not cherish thee as a child among us, and didst thou not stay in our midst many years of thy life? 18 “And you committed the deed of yours that you committed, and you were ungrateful.” 19 Musa (Moses) said: "I did it then, when I was an ignorant (as regards my Lord and His Message). 20 Then I fled for fear of you. Then my Lord bestowed wisdom and authority on me and made me one of the Messengers. 21 And this is the favor with which you oblige me: You have made the Israelites your slaves. 22 Pharaoh said, "What is this: Lord of the Universe?" 23 Moses answered: "The Lord of the heavens and the earth and of all that is between them, if you were only to believe." 24 Said Firaun to those around him, “Are you not listening with attention?” 25 [And Moses] continued: "[He is] your Sustainer, [too,] as well as the Sustainer of your forefathers of old!" 26 Fir'awn said: verily your apostle who hath been sent unto you is mad. 27 He said: Lord of the east and the west and whatsoever is in-between, if ye understand. 28 Fir'aun (Pharaoh) said: "If you choose an ilah (god) other than me, I will certainly put you among the prisoners." 29 (Moses) said: "Even though I have brought to you something convincing?" 30 Pharaoh said: "Then bring it if you are truthful at all." 31 So [Moses] threw his staff, and suddenly it was a serpent manifest. 32 Then he drew out his hand, and it was luminous to the onlookers. 33
