The people of Lut belied the sent ones. 160 when their brother Lot said to them, 'Will you not be godfearing? 161 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 162 “Therefore fear Allah and obey me.” 163 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 164 Do you, in the world, want to have carnal relations with males 165 And leave ye your spouses your Lord hath created for you? Aye! ye are a people trespassing. 166 They said: "If thou desist not, O Lut! thou wilt assuredly be cast out!" 167 He said: 'Truly, I am a detester of what you do' 168 "My Lord! Save me and my family from what they do." 169 So We delivered him and his household all. 170 save an old woman among those that tarried; 171 then We destroyed the others, 172 And We rained on them a rain. And dreadful is the rain of those who have been warned. 173 Verily herein is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 174 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 175
