What, are you harder to create than the heaven which He has built? 27 Raised it high, proportioned it, 28 and covered its night with darkness and brought forth from it its day; 29 And after that He spread the earth; 30 after that bringing forth from it its water and its pasture land, 31 and firmly fixed in it mountains; 32 [all this] as a means of livelihood for you and your animals. 33 When the great calamity comes, 34 The Day when man shall remember (all) that he strove for, 35 and Hell is there for all to see, 36 Then as for him who waxed exorbitant, 37 And preferred the life of this world (by following his evil desires and lusts), 38 The Abode will be Hell-Fire; 39 But, whosoever feared the standing before his Lord and prevented the self from desires, 40 Then indeed Paradise only is his destination. 41 They will question thee concerning the Hour, when it shall berth. 42 In what [position] are you that you should mention it? 43 To your Lord is the goal of it. 44 You are only a warner to him who has a fear of it. 45 The Day they see it, (It will be) as if they had tarried but a single evening, or (at most till) the following morn! 46
