The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ EXTOL the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's name: [the glory of] the Al-Highest, 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 We shall ease thee unto the Easing. 8 REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]: 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 In which they will then neither die nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 However, (the disbelievers) prefer the worldly life 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19
