Have you not seen how We send down to the unbelievers satans who prick them? 83 (Muhammad), exercise patience; We have given them respite only for an appointed time. 84 The Day will surely come when We shall gather the God-fearing like [honoured] guests before the Compassionate God 85 And We shall drive the sinners to Hell, like thirsty cattle driven down to water,- 86 They shall not control intercession, save he who has made a covenant with the Beneficent Allah. 87 They have said that the Beneficent God has given birth to a son. 88 Indeed ye have put forth a thing most monstrous! 89 The heavens may almost be rent thereat, and the earth cleave asunder, and the mountains fall down in pieces, 90 That they should ascribe unto the Compassionate a son. 91 And it is not appropriate for the Most Merciful that He should take a son. 92 there is none in the heavens or on the earth but shall return to the Merciful in utter submission, 93 He has counted them and numbered them precisely, 94 And every one of them will come to Him on the day of resurrection alone. 95 Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds - the Most Merciful will appoint for them affection. 96 and only to this end have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own tongue, [O Prophet,] so that thou might convey thereby a glad tiding to the God-conscious, and warn thereby those who are given to [futile] contention: 97 How many generations living before them did We destroy? Do you find anyone of them around or do you even hear any word from them? 98
