Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the winds (or angels or the Messengers of Allah) sent forth one after another. 1 By the raging hurricanes, 2 And [by] the winds that spread [clouds] 3 separating one from another, 4 and those hurling a reminder 5 Whether of Justification or of Warning;- 6 surely, that which you have been promised is about to fall! 7 When the stars lose their light, 8 when heaven shall be split 9 And when the mountains are carried away as dust, 10 And when the messengers' time has come... 11 To what day is the doom fixed? 12 one will be told, "To the Day of Distinction". 13 And what will explain to thee what is the Day of Sorting out? 14 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 15 Did We not destroy the former generations? 16 Then We will follow them with the later ones. 17 Thus do We deal with the criminals. 18 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 19 Did We not create you from a liquid disdained? 20 The which We placed in a place of rest, firmly fixed, 21 until an appointed time? 22 And We determined [it], and excellent [are We] to determine. 23 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 24 Have We not made the earth a repository 25 for both the living and the dead? 26 And placed in it lofty and broad stablisers, and gave you sweet water to drink? 27 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 28 'Depart unto that which ye were wont to belie. 29 Depart unto the shadow falling threefold, 30 [But having] no cool shade and availing not against the flame." 31 it throws spits as (high as a huge) palace, 32 like giant fiery ropes! 33 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 34 They will not be able to speak that day, 35 And they will not be permitted to put forth any excuse. 36 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 37 That will be the Day of Reckoning. Gathered will be (you) and the earlier (generations). 38 So if you have any plot to devise against Me, then devise it. 39 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 40
