And remember Our slave Ayub (Job), when he invoked his Lord (saying): "Verily! Shaitan (Satan) has touched me with distress (by losing my health) and torment (by losing my wealth)! 41 (And it was said unto him): Strike the ground with thy foot. This (spring) is a cool bath and a refreshing drink. 42 We restored to him his family and like those with them, a mercy from Us and a reminder to a nation that understand. 43 (We said to him): 'Take a bundle of rushes and strike with it; and do not break your oath' We found him to be patient, a good worshiper and he was penitent. 44 (Muhammad), recall Our servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, all of whom possessed virtuous hands and clear visions. 45 Assuredly We purified them with a quality most pure, the remembrance of the Abode, 46 They were, in Our sight, truly, of the company of the Elect and the Good. 47 And remember Ishmael, Elisha and Dhul-Kifl, and all are among the outstanding. 48 This is a Message (of admonition): and verily, for the righteous, is a beautiful Place of (Final) Return,- 49 Gardens of Eden, whereof the gates are opened for them, 50 Where they will take their ease, calling for fruits in plenty, and for wine, 51 ۞ And with them are those of modest gaze, companions. 52 This is what you are promised for the day of reckoning. 53 Most surely this is Our sustenance; it shall never come to an end; 54 But the arrogant will have the worst return: 55 Hell, where they will burn, an evil resting-place. 56 Here is a boiling and an ice-cold draught, so let them taste it, 57 And similar other punishments in pairs. 58 Their leaders will be told, "This band will also be thrown headlong with you into hell." Their leaders will exclaim, "May condemnation fall upon them! Let them suffer the torment of fire". 59 They will say: "In fact, it is you who will have no welcome. It is you who brought this upon us. What an evil place of rest!" 60 They will say: "Our Lord! whoever brought this upon us,- Add to him a double Penalty in the Fire!" 61 But why is it that we cannot see men whom we had considered as wicked 62 What, did we take them for a laughing-stock? Or have our eyes swerved away from them?' 63 Verily this is the very truth: the wrangling of the fellows of the Fire! 64
